Beautiful 1/400 "painted" rendition of Celestial Being's mother-ship, the Ptolemaios. This ship appeared in the Gundam 00 Anime series and was subsequently replaced with the Ptolemaios II in Gundam 00 second season. Between this and the II, I'd prefer the II, Of course "gimmick"-wise, the rotating containers does make the ship look cooler.
I couldn't understand the logic of the rotating assault containers that housed the 4 Gundams (Exia, Dynames, Kyrios and Virtue). When landing the assault container would open up its door allowing for the Gundam to enter in the lying down position. On taking off however it would release the Gundam to the catapult deck located at the nose of the ship. But in emergency situations the container could open up allowing the Gundam to exit from its door. Weird and inefficient really, oh well, just have to leave it to "anime logic" on why it has to be that way. Wherein it doesn't have to make sense, just look good in celluloid *snicker*
Oh, and if in case you were wondering the ship was named after Ptolemy, a famous Greek.
