The first ever GN particle powered mobile suit in the Gundam 00 series is the 0 Gundam. This was the design from where all the other Gundam units of Celestial Being had evolved from.
0 GUNDAM
In the opening minutes of episode 1 of Gundam 00 Season 1, Setsuna F. Seie was about to be fired upon by some mecha's. Had it not been for 0 Gundam killing those mecha's first it would have been the shortest Gundam series ever *snicker* Anywhoo, the big surprise with the 0 Gundam was the revelation in season 2 that it was antagonist Ribbons Almark who was piloting the 0 Gundam that day and he revealed to Setsuna that he intentionally spared his life.
Come season 2, the 0 Gundam's GN Drive was fitted into 00 Gundam along with the GN Drive of Exia in order to power the formidable twin-drive unit. The 0 Gundam was basically kept in storage but was still battle ready with the installation of a GN Condenser in its GN drive slot. The GN condenser acts as a battery storage unit for the GN particles, but like a battery the GN particles will eventually get depleted from use.
