1/100 GN-006 Cherudim Gundam Assembly Part VII
Part VI of this build could be found here. Started spraying the completed parts of 1/100 NG GN-006 Cherudim Gundam I'm building with Bosny Flat Clear spray paint. I like the effect it gives, mainly the flat effect. On clear parts it gives a frost window effect. And that's how not to overuse a word in a paragraph. "Effect", *snicker*... my English teacher is going to kick my butt for forgetting what she taught me in composition class.
The gun camera cover of the forehead, which is of clear plastic I had painted Tamiya Acrylic Red on the back side. I guess if I had any Clear Red paint, it would be safe to paint both sides of this? I guess also that if I spray paint this with the Bosny Clear Flat, it will also result in a frosty coat of the clear part. I'm curious actually as to how that will look.
Further painting had to stop today because of the weather. Started getting cloudy and the wind was becoming chilly. I wouldn't want to paint in a cold humid environment because it screws up how the paint sticks to the plastic. All that's left is the shield bits that need a coat of clear flat as well as the rifle. The pistols I still have to tape up and paint to give it that two tone color of white and light-blue.
