Picking up from where I left off. Finally finished retouching the MG Rick Dias that I had. I have to say that after completing this project the feeling I have right now is similar to having had a full meal or 8 hours of sleep... in short, I feel contentment right now. I don't think I'll ever revisit this build again because I am pleased already with how this model came out for me.
This time I decided to add the decals. Well some of it anyway. First time for me to put on dry transfer decals at a model kit. It was really a hard and frustrating experience for me...blehhh. I guess in a way this truly symbolizes the finality of this build, because I decided to add on the decals. No turning back now.
What really made this kit beautiful for me was the coat of Bosny Clear Flat that gave it a matte effect. Then of course couple that with the panel lining using a 0.5mm mechanical pencil that brought out the highlights. After applying the panel lining and the decals, it was sealed in with another coat of Bosny Clear Flat. I was worried that the Bosny Clear flat would cover up the decals but thankfully it didn't turn out that way.
