Bandai HG 1/144 RGM-79 Powered GM English Manual & Color Guide

RGM-79 Powered GM from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory OVA that was made into a 1/144 High Grade kit by Bandai. This was a souped up GM used by Earth Federation to test new technology for their next generation mobile suits. By souped up, we mean that this mobile suit got this good because of the new technology being installed in it for testing.

Makes me wonder too whether the orange color scheme of the GM was selected so that it could be easily retrieved once it had an accident due to the testing being done on it? You know? like the one prison mates are given so that they can be easily seen if they try to escape *snicker* I read before that the orange flight suit was the one worn by the crews of the SR-71 Black Bird and it was worn with pride by them. The source of pride as being members of an elite group of men who had flown past 3 times the speed of sound. Yep, as a fan, I'm guilty of romanticizing too much the mecha in the anime... hehehe
