1/100 VF-1J Battroid Hikaru Ver by Wave English Manual & Color Guide

1/100 model kit rendition by Wave of the iconic VF-1J Valkyrie of Hikaru Ichijo from the original Superdimension Fortress Macross that came out during the 80's. This model kit is only in Battroid mode, something to watch out for when buying this kit. This model kit came out around June of last year.

I kinda feel sorry for Wave, after announcing that they were releasing some 1/100 Macross kits that included some Valkyries and 1/72 Destroids, here comes Bandai announcing that they bought the old Macross model kits molds of Imai and were going to reissue these fine 1/72 kits and much cheaper than that of Wave's. Talk about a broadside if I ever saw one. Included in this collection were the Defender, Spartan, Monster and the Regult.
