Released last month by Bandai was the 1/144 High Grade model kit version of the Dra-C from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory. I just love the superb detailing in this kit, specifically at the underside of the shield. Everytime I see the Dra-C's picture I can't help but hear that obnoxious voice from that Disney Channel segment that asks where the hidden Mickey is *snicker*
MS-21C DRA-C
The Dra-C was borne out of the defeat of Zeon in the One Year War, where in they were left to scrounge for whatever parts were at hand in order to build up their army again. In place of legs it has propellant tanks making this mobile suit a space only mecha. This mecha gives proof to the age old saying that: Necessity is the mother of invention. Since also because of the apparent lack of legs, the kit comes with an included stand to help in displaying this.
This kit has the option to forgo the cannon on the right hand and instead be equipped with a Gatling gun. Take note of steps 16 and steps 29 of the manual when you are planning to take on this option.
