Saw this Retweet (or was it a copy paste?) at Yamato Toy's official site from an original Tweet at DIGIMIXStudio. I hope I'm reading it correctly, because to be honest, I have a hard time understanding the tweets at twitter because of its shortened state and unique address syntax, signs of old age creeping up at me...*snicker* Well if I am reading it correctly we can expect a Ghost and Lancer II garage kit (as well as some others) to be released this year for the 30th Year Anniversary of Macross.
If I'm also understanding it correctly, DIGIMIXStudio is a 3D Modelling crew used by Yamato Toys, like for the 1/60 Destroid Tomahawk and Defender (as seen at their gallery page). Question is, will this be for Yamato Toys? and on what scale will it be released at?, hopefully 1/60. Excited to hear more details about this.
Incase your wondering, here's a picture of the Lancer II. Its a space fighter craft that came out in the original SDF Macross anime. As for the Ghost unmanned fighter, I'm assuming it will be the one from Macross Plus or the original one from SDF Macross anime... lot of Ghost fighters in the Macross Universe...hehehe
I wonder what the "various others" that was also mentioned to be released as garage kits?
